Animals on Board

Only cats and dogs can travel on board Advanced Air. Guests may travel with one animal only free of charge.****

Animals must be trained, well-behaved, and not cause disturbances during any portion of your trip with us to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.

  • Cats must be in a soft-sided crate on the guest's lap and remain in the crate for the duration of the flight.
  • Small dogs must be in a soft-sided crate on the guests lap and remain in the crate for the duration of the flight.
  • Large dogs with a maximum of thirty (30) pounds must be on a quick-release leash and kept out of aircraft aisles at all times.

Advanced Air has the right to deny boarding for any animals that do not comply with any of the above. Advanced Air assumes no liability for the health or wellbeing of carry-on animals.

Guests traveling with animals should be advised that passengers traveling with a service animal may take priority. Please be advised Advanced Air no longer recognizes emotional support animals per the DOT Ruling.

Animals will be accepted for reservations on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. Guests can book animals through the Advanced Air website by selecting “Animal on Board” in the Extras section of the booking process.

****Taos Air Flights - Guests are allowed to travel with one cat or dog for a $100 charge per direction to be collected at time of booking. Limited space available.
